“Invisible Currency Went Platinum on Boomplay in only 6 days,” he said on social media.
“No controversy or any of that Kiki sh#@, Just Good Music, RESPECT THE OG.. thank You Guys 🙏🏾🙏🏾 we go live tomorrow on Every other platform.”
The album, released less than a week ago, has 17 tracks and several top artists featured such as Alikiba, Nigeria’s Rudeboy, Mejja, America’s Dax among others.
Before its release, Jones said it will be the biggest release of 2022 because of the work he has put in.
“There is no album that will come out of the 254 in 2022 that is going to surpass what ‘Invisible Currency’ is going to do,” he said.
Just like his debut project “Testimony 1990” released in 2018 and later went platinum, “Invincible Currency” has shown OG’s growth in the four years in his effort to cement his legacy as one of the best rappers in Africa.
