International footballer and philanthropist, Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly paid the medical bills of 370 victims injured fire that claimed the lives of 42 people and injured many in Portugal.

His pop star sister, Katia Aveiro posted a link to a report about the Real Madrid’s forward’s generosity on her Facebook page.

It says: “Cristiano Ronaldo paid for the medical treatment of the 370 people injured in the Portuguese wildfires.”

Applauding the move, she adds to the post: ‘And that is It. Good night.’

Following the news of the wildfires, the football star from Madeira in Portugal, who’s the Richest sportsman in the World, took to his Facebook to show solidarity to the family of the victims.

“It’s impossible to remain indifferent to this tragedy. Solidarity with the relatives and friends of the victims.

“Full support for firefighters who risk their live to help in the best way possible.”
