Music duo Necessary Noize is making a comeback after almost 10 years out of the music business.
The members, Nazizi and Wyre, took to social media to make the announcement by sharing a snippet of their jam set to drop on May 5.
“Exciting news NECESSARY NOIZE is about to drop a new single. Mark your calendar MAY 5TH,” said the duo in the post.

The two went their separate ways in the mid-2010s. Nazizi focused on family matters while Wyre switched to other businesses outside music.
Necessary Noize was formed in 2000 and steadily grew in popularity.
In 2004, they released their second album Necessary Noize II: Kenyan Gal, Kenyan Boy 2004 which included popular regional hits such as ‘Kenyan Gal, Kenyan Boy’ and ‘Bless My Room’.
