Splurge, Investment or Stunt? Runtown buys a $200,000 Lamborghini Gallardo

We know Runtown’s break out track was ‘Gallardo’ featuring Davido. Years after, he is not only being aspirational, he now claims to own what he once only sang about. Fresh off from winning “African Artiste of The Year” at the just concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the singer announced on instagram the purchase of Lamborghini Gallardo. A simple google search would tell a worth of $200,000 – we won’t even bother about converting into local currency.

Now the conversation is: Is this a necessary splurge for profile sake which clearly Runtown has, an investment or totally unncessary or (again) just a stunt?
