Seven-year-old Ugandan rapper Faith Nanyanzi commonly known as Felista Di Superstar has joined thousands of people condemning racism, oppression and injustice in society.
Like all her other freestyle videos released during this quarantine period, this too was recorded on phone at her home.
In the video, Felista recreates the incident that led to the death of George Floyd. She is seen lying down while a male figure continues to kneel on her neck as she says ‘I Can’t Breathe’.
The video has elicited massive reactions, with fans showering her with praises for the uniquely laid out lyrics, despite being only seven years old.
She joins millions of people across the world who’ve been condemning the murder of Floyd and other black people in America.
George Floyd was a 46-year-old an unarmed black man, a father of two and a former member of Houston’s Screwed Up Click who died in police custody.
The four police officers involved in the incident have been fired, and the FBI is currently investigating the incident.
His death has triggered widespread protests across the US and all over the world, with ,ost people saying enough is enough.
