What started as a viral web series on Rukus’ Instagram and Facebook pages, has exploded as the lyrical MC has gained thousands of new fans on social media while showing his rapping chops and creativity the past 5 weeks on numerous Afro-pop tracks. The culmination of this can be found on his reinvention of Mr. Eazi’s “Pour Me Water” into the beautiful storytelling of a migrant slave in Libya on this weeks edition of #WahalaWednesdays. Rukus is 6 weeks into the series and this latest offering seems to be the best of the bunch as he readies to release an EP and a slate of new material in 2018.
