Few artistes can get tongues wagging like burst out American singer, songwriter and rapper, Lil Nas X.
Still riding the wave of success brought on by his last single Montero/Call Me BY Your Name, Lil Nas X drops yet another song but this time featuring the lyrically savvy Jack Harlow.
This song is in response to his controversial trial for trying to sell Nike Shoes with a drop of human blood in them. The music video of the song is comically set in a prison with overtly sexual choreography an even a blurred out nude scene
As per usual, the track itself is incredibly catchy and enjoyable to listen to. It is no wonder that as of Friday, the video has racked up over 6 million views on youtube.
Though the video has a light energy, Lil Nas X did share that prison is not a joke or something to be taken lightly and that the video was released in collaboration with a nonprofit agency that sought to end cash bail in America. Within hours of the song’s release, the rapper had already raised over twenty-one thousand dollars.
