Don Cheadle is set to star in and produce the biopic “Prince of Darkness” about 19th century black millionaire Jeremiah G. Hamilton.
The larger-than-life Hamilton who amassed a $2 million fortune by the time of his death in 1875. In his time he dealt extensively in the white business world, married a white woman, bought a mansion in rural New Jersey, and owned railroad stock.
Steven Baigelman (“Miles Ahead”) will adapt the script from Shane White’s non-fiction novel.
