With the announcement, Drake steals the crowning honor from Major Lazer’s MØ and DJ Snake-featuring “Lean On,” which had been named Spotify’s most played song last year 526 million streams across the planet. Currently, “Lean On,” has more than 875 million plays.
“One Dance” was Drake’s first Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping track and includes features from WizKid and Kyla. Interesting, Views premiered as an exclusive to Spotify’s competition Apple Music and iTunes for two weeks before becoming available widely.
