Ty Dolla $ign and WizKid are homies. The two have been pictured together on more than one occasion, and word is they have a record together that should be dropping shortly. We thought we might see it on Ty’s recently released mixtape, Campaign, but unfortunately not.
However, we do know that something is definitely bubbling under the surface, and it’s just a matter of time before we get something major. We’re inclined to say that it might be on Wizkid’s project. Earlier today, Ty bigged up Wizkid and said he’s “one of the realest niggas I met out here.” He also hinted that his camp (thmvmnt) and Star boy got something in the pipeline. The two linked up on Major Lazer’s track BOOM about a year ago, we fully expect more.
Wizkid is rumored to have signed a seven figure deal with Sony Music, however there hasn’t been an official announcement yet. Ever since he featured on Drake’s #1 record, One Dance, expectations have been through the roof for the kid from Ojuelegba, Lagos. 2017 will be a critical year for Wizkid.
