This is Why Chris Brown and baby mama Nia Guzman are back in child support tussle

Over the last few months, it’s become clear that Chris Brown and his baby mama, Nia Guzman, have been successful in co-parenting their daughter Royalty. Royalty made it out to a few tour stops during Breezy’s HBOAFM Tour and Guzman and Brown helped plan a lavish princess party to celebrate their kid’s most recent birthday. To an outsider looking in, you can easily assume that Royalty lives a life more comfortable than most children in America. After all, her father is Chris Brown. Taking this information in, the four-year-old is probably pretty spoiled. While Nia and Chris seemingly agree on most things pertaining to the upbringing of their daughter, one thing appears to be an issue as of late: money.

We reported yesterday that Guzman had filed for an increase in child support payments, noting that Breezy owes her as much as $250K in retroactive finances. With her website only garnering her a minimal income, the change in child support could help out Guzman to an extreme degree but, reportedly, Chris isn’t down with it.

According to The Guardian, Brown believes his daughter will be spoiled rotten if the request goes through, something he’s not interested in doing. The publication writes that he said, “Providing a four-year-old with everything she demands could be harmful and is not in her best interest.” Chris’ response states that he has kept his side of the bargain since they agreed on the amount he would pay her monthly, even paying an excess of $6,628 to her.

As previously reported, Guzman believes she should be getting $21,000 from Brown.
