In a world where female representation is a norm and many are advocating for gender equality, it is not surprising to hear more activists speaking up about gender balance in all ramification. Following recent report indicating that rapper Sarkodie is set to sign Black KatGH who will be the third artist to be signed on to his SarkCess music label, outspoken entertainment personality, Rossy has advised Sarkodie to also sign female musicians.
In a facebook post, she argued that there should be gender balance in his signings since there are numerous talented female musicians who also need help.
“Well,its great a musician has taking a bold step in signing his fellow musicians to his label…I give one of my all time best rappers Sarkodie thumbs up for doing that…I’m hearing that he is going to sign another rapper by name Black KatGH after signing the likes of Akwaboah and Strongman…
Yes,they are great signings…but my humble question to King Sark is ,King Sark have you forgotten there are female artistes in Ghana? Please there should be gender balance in your signings because we have so many talented female artistes who need help or is Maame ahuofe Tracy not allowing you to sign female artiste with the notion that you might ……..hahahah.
