Singer Zuchu will need more than half a billion Kenyan shillings to opt out of Diamond Platnumz’s record label Wasafi Classic Baby Records.
Diamond on social media claimed that the singer should pay Ksh 511 Million.
“@diamondplatnumz @officialzuchu akitaka kutoka atadaiwa bilioni mbili maana saiv ni msanii mkubwa baada ya bigy (Diamond right now if Zuchu wants to quit Wasafi she will pay Tsh2 billion because she is now the most successful artiste after you),” a fan commented.
Diamond replied;
“@qwixa_azz aah huyo si chini ya 10 billion si unaona manamba yake huko mjini Youtube Baba (Zuchu can’t pay less than Tsh10 billion, can you see the numbers she is pulling on YouTube?)”.
Zuchu responded to Diamond’s reveal of the figure saying she doesn’t have a problem with it. Zuchu has been under Wasafi Classic Baby for only three years now.

The exchange comes at a time Wasafi has been rocked by several exits.
Rayvanny left the label a few weeks ago and had to pay Ksh 50 million. Wasafi slapped Harmonize and Rich Mavoko with Ksh23 million fine after exit.
