Yobad was born Obadofin Yinka, in Lagos, Nigeria and hails from Ondo state. After completing his O.N.D at Iree Polytechnic, Osun State, He proceeded to Lagos State University, where he studied sociology.
Yobad describes his kind of music as, Afro hip hop. He’s worked with different artists to include, Akin Alabi, Ksolo, Terry G, Puffy T and a host of others.
Yobad is most concerned about reaching the streets through the power of music, but pointed out that the platforms for gospel artist are limited, in terms of the show and minimum investment.
