Middlesbrough fans are drooling over Mikel Obi since his transfer to the English Championship side so much so they have nicknamed him a Rolls Royce, Britain’s state-of-the-art car while some have called him ‘African Zidane’
Mikel joined ‘Boro on a free after he parted ways with Chinese club Tainjin Teda.
His new club won 1-0 at Blackburn Rovers yesterday with the Nigerian footballer playing in the heart of the midfield for the entire duration.
This has sparked off a flurry of praise from appreciative ‘Boro fans, see tweets below:
