Are you looking for a job and praying to get a cool boss as well? Well, Mi Casa frontman J’Something is hiring for his new restaurant. Following his announcement that he will be opening his own restaurant soon, J is now looking for people who would want to be a part of the business venture.
This is not just an opportunity to get employed, but also a chance to work for Mi Casa frontman J’Something. Now, that would be super cool!
The Mi Casa star shared the job opportunity on his Instagram page with a poster that reads, “Want to be a part of my restaurant? Send me your CV email@example.com.”
A few days ago, J’Something revealed in a statement made on Twitter that he is opening his own restaurant. He thanked his friends and family who pushed him to pursue his dreams as the foodie he is.
An excerpt from J’Something’s statement read:
“ITS OFFICIAL my friends, my family … I am opening my OWN restaurant! The name will be Something’s Cooking by J and you are all invited! I can’t believe it’s actually happening but I am so grateful to all of you for pushing me towards this point! 3 years ago all I did was post a picture of something I cooked at home and now look at this.” The spot which is under construction is a joint venture with Sun International and will be located at a new trendy spot in Menlyn, Pretoria called; Time Square. J’Something, who moved from Portugal to South Africa when he was seven years old said the restaurant will be dedicated to his late father who worked for Sun International for many years.
“My late father worked for Sun International for over 20 years and two weeks after his passing, I got a call from the Sun International office for a meeting. They told me about Times Square and that they had three signature restaurants, one of which they would like to belong to me. Without them knowing who my dad or my mother were, without them knowing my father had passed away, I get offered my dream, my own restaurant. Now tell me this isn’t weird?” Something’s Cooking by J is set to open at the end of March 2017.
