Kenyan rapper Kaycyy Pluto Wins 1st Grammy

US-based Kenyan rapper Kaycyy Pluto has been honored for his work on Kanye West’s Album “Donda”.

Kaycyy bagged his first Grammy Award for his collabo ‘Hurricane’ alongside The Weekend and Lil baby.

On social media, Kaycyy appreciated the win and promised fans to expect more from him.

“God thank you so much, imma thank you out loud today as many times as I can remember to,” he wrote.

“Hurricane OMG I knew you was a special one, praise God man…wowww God thank you. “Donda West Thankyou, Ye Thankyou, Bu Thank you.”

“Hurricane” charted at number six on the US Billboard Hot 100, alongside reaching number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The song scored top 10 positions in 10 other countries, including New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

It has been certified platinum in both the United States and Canada by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and Music Canada (MC)
