Diamond Platnumz Reacts To Forbes List of Richest African Musicians

Diamond Platnumz, Tanzania’s biggest music star and CEO of WCB Wasafi Records, has reacted to Forbes list of the richest African musicians, urging Forbes to Google his name before compiling their list.

The singer responded to Forbes’ newly announced list of the wealthiest African musicians, on which he was ranked 28th.

This did not sit well with the artist, who is by far one of the wealthiest artists to ever come out of Africa, allegedly charging no less than $70,000 a performance on the international stage.

Diamond Platnumz called the list of wealthiest African musicians a “stupid list” and urged Forbes to Google his -name first to determine his true net worth before ranking him.

The singer, who recently signed a contract with Warner Music South Africa, took to Instagram to express his displeasure with the Forbes Africa list and to post a picture of himself at the Warner Music office in Sandton, South Africa.
