The powerhouse duo teams up to cover “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” a remake of Elton John’s classic ballad from the original 1994 film. The new version was produced by Hans Zimmer, Jon Favreau, Pharrell Williams, and Stephen Lipson, and also features vocals from Billy Eichner (Timon) and Seth Rogen (Pumbaa).

DREMO FEATURES REEKADO BANKS ON “RINGER”
It’s not surprising that Dremo and Reekado Banks make a great pair on “Ringer”. Though they were signed to different labels at the start of their careers, they’ve both leveraged their big-budget label association to understand what it takes to make a hit record and have since risen to prominence in Nigeria’s explosive pop music scene. With Reekado Banks going solo to start his own recording company last year, the two can finally collaborate without any contractual hindrances and their first collaboration aims right for the hearts of Nigerian music lovers with the romantic theme filtered through their charming sense of humour.

NEW MUSIC: MIKE POSNER FEAT. TY DOLLA $IGN – ‘LOOK WHAT I’VE BECOME’
While he continues his Walk Across America, Mike Posner returns with his new song “Look What I’ve Become” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

The Grammy-nominated singer (“I Took a Pill in Ibiza,” “Cooler Than Me”) chronicles his journey across the country as well as his own personal path to enlightenment. “Walked across Ohio, took me 50 days / I talked to the stars, they were happy that I came,” he sings. “I don’t want your money, I am simply done / I just walked away, look what I’ve become.”

NEW MUSIC: FRENCH MONTANA FEAT. CITY GIRLS – ‘WIGGLE IT’
French Montana makes his play for song of the summer with his new single “Wiggle It” featuring City Girls.

The booty-popping banger, produced by Ben Billions and French, samples Nightcrawlers’ ’90s hit “Push the Feeling On.” The Coke Boy brings the bounce, while Yung Miami acts up on her twerk-ready verse.

NEW MUSIC: COMMON FEAT. SWIZZ BEATZ – ‘HERCULES’
Common is gearing up to release his first album in three years, Let Love, next month.

After dropping the Daniel Caesar collaboration “HER Love,” the Chicago MC delivers his latest single “Hercules.” Over backing vocals from Swizz Beatz, who also produced the track, Common shines as he shows off his witty wordplay.

A-Q GETS PROVOCATIVE ON NEW SINGLE, “HMMM”
A key part of A-Q’s notoriety in the earlier days of his career was his unflinching dedication to bluntness, even if it meant entering into rap beefs and real life tiffs even. Although he’s pared that trait down as he’s grown into an elder statesman in Nigerian hip-hop circles over the last few years, he’s letting the devil use him on his new, shit-stirring single “Hmmm”. Straddling the lines between blatant mockery and instinctive polemic, A-Q’s vitriol spiked lyrics takes aim at young, new age rappers who he perceives as imposters using the rebellious aesthetic of the alté movement as a cover up for the lack of content and innovation in their music.
