Singer Diamond Platnumz has lost his account for allegedly violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.
Diamond, who has close to 7 million subscribers making him one of the most subscribed channels in Africa, lost the account on Monday 25, morning.
It’s not yet clear which rule the singer violated and neither Diamond nor his management has addressed the shutdown.
According to Youtube, Community Guidelines are the rules used to monitor behavior on the platform.
If your content violates their Community Guidelines, your channel will get a strike(3) or termination.
YouTube can terminate your channel which means you might need to start afresh in case your appeal fails.
Some of the reasons for termination include: Repeated violations of the Community Guidelines, Severe abuse (such as predatory behavior, spam, or pornography), Channels or accounts dedicated to a policy violation, and copyright infringement.

Diamond’s termination comes at a time he has just released a new song dubbed Wonder and in the middle of the FOA EP tour.
