Following his win for Top Hot 100 Song at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, The Weeknd teased new music.
On Sunday, The Weeknd teased that more new music is on the way after winning Top Hot 100 Song for “Blinding Lights” at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
“You guys inspire me to keep doing this. I’m smitten with you, “During his acceptance speech, the After Hours singer told adoring fans. “All I have to say is that After Hours is over, and dawn is approaching.”
Other Top Hot 100 Song nominees included 24kGoldn ft. Gabby Barrett ft. Iann Dior for “Mood” “I Hope” by Charlie Puth, “Go Crazy” by Chris Brown and Young Thug, and “Rockstar” by DaBaby and Roddy Ricch.
Later in the evening, DaBaby and Roddy Ricch’s “Rockstar” won the award for Best Rap Song.
The Weeknd won seven awards in total, including Top Male Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, and more, at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday night. He was also nominated for the most awards, with 16.
