Tanzanian singer Kayumba Singeli has released a new album dubbed “Fine Tape”.
The 12-track album also has a variety of top-featured artists in Tanzania such as Rayvanny Mr Blue, Roma among others.
Fine Tape was released in early March and has already proved to be a problem, taking over chat lists not only in East Africa but also in West and Central Africa.
Kayumba is known for his unique style which fuses elements of traditional Tanzanian music with modern sounds such as EDM and hip hop.
His talent got discovered through Bongo star search (BSS) in 2015, where he emerged as the winner out of thousands of contestants who participated in the show and that’s when his music career officially started.
Over the past years, Kayumba has attained significant success in the media for his strong vocals and the good messages from his lyrics. Kayumba is best known for his love songs that have been very popular across the country.
Within the years of his career, he has mastered the art of music, teaches, and shares his knowledge with other upcoming artists. As a music coach, he has been able to cover almost a variety of music styles.
As a songwriter, he has written multiple hit songs for himself and some Tanzanian artists and has a strong desire to create pathways for the growth of other upcoming artists within the music industry in Tanzania.
Apart from Music Kayumba loves reading books in his free time and has also been attending different forums and training sessions for his career development. This has helped him challenge his vision and shape his productivity in his music career.
As a young and ambitious Tanzanian music artist, Kayumba’s goal is to foster a change within the music industry in Tanzania by continuously deploying new styles and ideas in the industry to match the World standard in terms of Art, sound beats, fashion style, and video.
Some of his popular songs include “Kamwambie”, “Nimekwisha”, “Mtoto Mbaya”, and “Mazoea”. Kayumba Singeli has collaborated with other talented artists within and outside Tanzania such as Harmonize, Isha Mashauzi, and Rostam.
