We cannot draw the year close without mentioning the women who ideally made it special with their unique and striving spirit of standing high in a society that proves too difficult for the female to stand tall especially in the Nigeria music Industry. Not only are they go-getters but also, inspiring for the younger artist who may not have found their footing yet in the industry and are looking up to these role models of achievement. The phrase; ‘hard work pays’ is the definition of these music queens who have not allowed things to be handed to them but have rather gone out to grab it without no regret or apology. These women reminds one of the Maya Angelou of women Literature who once said;

‘I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life’s a bitch. You’ve got to go out and kick ass’
