Celebrated Kenyan musician Vivian has dropped a new jam dubbed Simpi Simple featuring fast-rising rapper Stivo Simple Boy.
‘Simpo Simpo’ is a love song that Vivian uses to express her love for Simple Boy, who plays the role of her worker in the video.
“Mash up di ting anytime unadai nimekukufia na siwezi kufufuka Nipe vitu, mahaba, venye unafanya ninafeel si kawaida Burn Calories… Niperembe perembe ni ka ni hobby Si unajua me upenda watukutu Dont be shy come lets get naughty,” the song’s lyrics read in part.
Vocally, both artistes are on point, with Simple Boy showing tremendous vocal growth in this new jam.
On her part, Vivian does a rap verse and nails it perfectly, despite rapping not being her strength.
The video is doing well online and has over 16,000 views in less than 2 hours, an indication that it is sset to be a massive tune.
Before the song was released, Vivian committed it to the Lord in a public prayer on her Instagram handle.
“Prayer to our heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I want to publicly commit the project #SimpoSimpo with Stivo to our heavenly Father. May the success of the song NOT give GLORY to the artists but to you God. Jesus, you deserve all the credit and honour for making the project come together. As we release the song at 10am may you receive all the praise and honour. We humbly thank you,” she posted.
