Rapper AKA has found himself at the centre of a twitterstorm after posting tweets relating to a silent anti-rape protest.
On Saturday, four young women held placards in front of a stage during President Jacob Zuma’s address at the Independent Electoral Commission’s (IEC) results centre. A woman, known as Khwezi, accused the president of rape in 2005. But a year later, the president was cleared of raping the woman.
The protesters were forcibly removed from the centre by the president’s bodyguards last night.
The rapper posted his views following their removal:
