Fireboy DML’s ‘Peru Remix’ featuring the British music star, Ed Sheeran has become the number 1 song on the UK Apple Music Top Songs All Charts.
Fans have continued to praise Ed Sheeran for his talents and mastery of Yoruba lines in the song that helped him deliver the hit remix seamlessly.
Idris Omotoso (@crhedrys), who is the digital lead for all Soundcity brands also tweeted on his timeline saying how massive this record is to Afrobeats and Nigeria as a whole.
Before the release of this remix, Ed Sheeran revealed how impressed he was with ‘Peru’ and said he had the song on repeat for a week nonstop.
“It’s addictive, and I’m obsessed with it. I mean, Cherry will tell you, I’ve had this song on repeat constantly in the house for the last week.”

The song, which was produced by Shizzi, was part of Fireboy’s upcoming album, the singer revealed during its release.
The song about jetting around the world has become a huge global hit.
The remix and the original track have accumulated more than 20 million views on Youtube.
The album is set for release later in 2022.
Fireboy DML’s U.S. tour begins on the 4th of February, 2022 at Irving Plaza, New York.
