DJ Khaled and Nas are up to something.
The duo escaped to the Bahamas this week to shoot a video for their Major Key banger, “Nas Album Done.” In between taking in poolside views in paradise, Khaled reflected on the momentous occasion.
“I prayed for times like this,” he wrote on Instagram. “I remember having @nas illmatic poster hung up in my garage with my two turntables and drum machine!! Look at me I’m with @nas Major 🔑”
Khaled also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the visual on Instagram, calling it a “video/film.”
“Icon alert !!!!!!!!!!!!! #NASALBUMDONE VIDEO/FILM,” he wrote. “Soon come.”
Earlier this month, Esco spoke with Complex about his collab with the Snapchat King. “Khaled hit me up and said that he wanted to do this and we had planned some studio days to sit down and we cleared some studio days just to go over records,” he said. “He knew exactly what he wanted. He had a couple of ideas, but the one we put out, that was the one he really wanted.”
So far, Khaled has unleashed only one video — the Jay Z and Future collab “I Got the Keys” — off Major Key.
