This is Why Bruno Mars & Kendrick Lamar Carted Away Most Plaques at the 2018 #Grammys!

The 60th edition of the biggest music award show, the Grammys held last night at the Madison Square Garden in New York and saw singer Bruno Mars cart away the most awards, closely followed by rapper Kendrick Lamar.

Bruno Mars took home the 3 major awards; Record of The Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year as well as 3 awards from the R&B category totaling 6 awards. Kendrick Lamar on his part picked all four awards in the Rap category; Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Performance, Best Rap Song & Best Album.

Alessia Cara took home the Best New Act award edging out competition from Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, Julia Michaels & SZA. British singer Ed Sheeran also took home two awards in the Pop category; Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Shape Of You’ & Best Pop Album for ‘Divide’.

JAY-Z who had the most nominations with 8 nods ended up with no awards on the night.
