Over three years since their last album, Migos returns with Culture III, the long-awaited third chapter in their Culture series.
The star-studded set opens with “Avalanche,” which Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff debuted on “The Tonight Show,” and includes appearances from Drake (“Having Our Way”) and Justin Bieber (“What You See”).
Cardi B joins her husband Offset on “Type Shit,” while Future links up with his fellow ATLiens on “Picasso.” The late Juice WRLD guests on “Antisocial,” and Pop Smoke can be heard on “Light It Up.” The 19 tracks also include collaborations with Polo G and NBA YoungBoy.
In a recent interview, Quavo called the follow-up to 2018’s Culture II “the greatest album of this year.”
“I feel like this album going to open up the world. We’re having fun and smiling again,” he told Complex. “Everybody’s been hurtin’, and going through this pandemic, and losing loved ones. I feel like this is a breakthrough. This is the sonic boom to the new life and new world that we live in. We’ve been going through this pandemic for like a year-and-a-half.”
