Tanzanian singer Nandy’s new jam is closing in on hitting 1. 5 million views on Youtube just four days after release.

Nandy dropped Siwezi amid a controversial post on instagram that was pulled down by the social media platform.

⁣⁣The photo, which was deleted by Instagram comminuty, showed Nandy hanging from the top of a tree with a rope around her neck.

Explaining why she used the photo, Nandi said her new song and the photo mirror what is happening in the society.

“Everything they see, they think it is clout chasing. I am a mirror of society and I use my talent to educate and not to destroy. How can I clout-chase with death? I am not about that childish life with my brand,” She said.
