Produced by Yussy Beats and mastered by Grammy Award-winning producer and audio engineer Vtek, who has also worked with Adekunle Gold, Yemi Alade, and Kizz Daniel, among others, ‘Bad Girl’ is an infectious afropop offering with lush R&B and hip-hop sensibilities, which sees Idahams and Ajebo Hustlers wax lyrical about their escapades with the beautiful women in their lives.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Bad Girl’ and how the collaboration with Ajebo Hustlers came about, Idahams says, “When it came time for me to put my album altogether, I knew I had to connect with my brothers Ajebo Hustlers, because we share ties from our back home in Port Harcourt in Nigeria, and ‘Bad Girl’ was just the perfect song for us to work together on, thanks to Yussy on the production. The inspiration behind the song is essentially us exploring and sharing the experiences and escapades that we’ve had with the beautiful women in our lives.”

The release of this new single ‘Bad Girl’ from Idahams, and his upcoming album Truth, Love & Confessions come after several months of creative hibernation for the multitalented singer, songwriter, and producer, which have seen him carefully put together a symphonic memoir of his personal life experiences over the past year, while also addressing the socio-political and environmental issues that are currently affecting his hometown – the outcome of which, is a glorious melting pot of good music, confessional true stories and personal activism.
