100 Acts Confirmed For Tusker Oktobafest This Weekend 

The highly anticipated 2023 Tusker OktobaFest is just around the corner, and music enthusiasts are in for a treat like never before. The full artist line-up has been unveiled, promising a sensational experience that encompasses Kenyan classics, gengetone, East African rhythms, and much more. 

The true essence of East African culture will come alive at the Tusker OktobaFest from October 27 to October 29, as Kenya Breweries presents the ultimate beer festival in Kenya. The three-day event, to be held at the Ngong Racecourse, promises to be a vibrant showcase of music, arts, fashion, dance, food, and, of course, beer, featuring a dynamic line-up of 100 acts from Kenya and beyond.  

The event will host multiple stages, each featuring an eclectic mix of performers, DJs, and MCs, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience for all attendees. The line-up, meticulously curated to ensure diversity and inclusion, features a vibrant mix of both male and female talents. This inclusive approach reflects the festival’s commitment to providing a platform for artists from all walks of life. From established industry heavyweights to rising stars, every performer at OktobaFest represents the rich tapestry of talent that East Africa has to offer. 

Kicking off on Friday, 27th October, the festivities will feature a nostalgic throwback theme, featuring the likes of Nameless, Jua Kali, Kalamashaka, Necessary Noise, DNG, DJ MOH, Gravitti, DJ Double Trouble, DJ Gordo, DJ Leather, DJ Wije, Baba Dede, Batshtma, Braines DJs, Iborian, Miss Bune, One Down, and DJ Lans, among others. 

The energy will escalate on the second day with headliner Diamond Platnumz leading a powerhouse line-up that includes; Bensoul, Mejja, Ndovu Kuu, DJ Xclusive, DJ Joe Mfalme, Mwalimu Racheal, DJ Crim, DJ Deedan, DJ Tibz, DJ Grauchi, DJ Twinzzle, Buruklyn Boyz, Boutross, DJ Hypnotic, Fathermore, DJ Cavi, BV Accurate, Maya Amolo, Barak Jacuzzi, SS Barz, Vijana Barubaru, DJ Most Wanted, Ayrosh, Kaneda, DJ Alimo, DJ Kingsley, TK Lyon, Zaituni, Heavyweight, Earlwin, DJ Gatmo, DJ Rabai, DJ Sessi, DJ Klay, Mura the Deejay, DJ Ally Fresh, Kay the DJ, DJ Drazen, Shanga Tatu, and DJ Fita. 

The festival will culminate in a crescendo of performances on Sunday, featuring renowned artists such as Nyashinski, Khaligraph Jones, South Sudan’s John Frog, Wakadinali, Nviiri, Kwambox, DJ Suraj, Foozak, Wangechi, Charisma, Chipi, DJ Shawn, Breeder LW, Masauti, DJ Mish, DJ Deewiz, Gudah Man, DJ Perez, Mista A2, FreshKid Venom, Sir M, Korbs, Sabi Wu, Kinoti, Ethan Muziki, PHY, Mutoriah, Costa Ojwang, Block A Beats, Mshikajy, DJ Rudeboy, Don the Black, DJ Payne, Wandat, AAHIL, Stevie K, Sultan, and MGM. 

The inclusion of Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania and John Frog from South Sudan aligns with this year’s festival aim of celebrating East African culture and fostering cultural exchange through music. OktobaFest seeks to position itself as a cultural celebration that not only offers great beer but also invites attendees to immerse themselves in the rich culture of East Africa through music. Diamond Platnumz brings the Tanzanian flava to Kenya’s ultimate beer festival, while John Frog, all the way from South Sudan graces the biggest stage in East Africa for the first time. 

In line with its brand purpose of supporting emerging talents, the OktobaFest line-up features a blend of industry heavyweights and up-and-coming artists. This inclusive approach provides a platform for rising stars to showcase their talents on the grandest stage. Notably, Tusker Nexters talent search produced artists such as TK Lyon, Zaituni, and Heavyweight, who are set to captivate the audience.
