Kenya’s very own boy band, Sauti Sol and Nigeria’s Wizkid have worked on a musical project set to be released soon, one that a lot of fans cannot keep calm and wait to listen to.
Wizkid was in Nairobi for a concert a few weeks back, he took advantage of that by passing by a studio to record the single with Sauti Sol.
From what Word Is has found out, the song has been produced by one of Kenya’s biggest producers, Cedric Kadenyi alias Cedo.
Word Is reached out to Wizkid who admitted that indeed the collabo is underway saying they first met in Mombasa during the Chris Brown concert.
“Sauti Sol they are very very talented and we met before, when we were in Mombasa and we had to do a show we couldn’t record a song. We definitely created something, I’m excited about that.”
Wizkid then took to social media to let his fans know that he and Sauti sol were collaborating:
“Making some music with my bros Sauti Sol today!!”
When asked how he felt working with established other established artistes across the world like Drake, Wizkid said: “I just feel really blessed to be a part of this generation that is making good music. And everyday I get in studio with someone I’m collaborating with I see an opportunity. “
Adding, “All I always preach and try to spread is love and unity. You know we should always come together and have a great time regardless of who we are and where we are from.
