Angella Katatumba To Build Facility For Children With Special Needs

Ugandan Singer and philanthropist Angella Katatumba is set to headline another charitable cause.

The “Multiply by 2” singer, who has previously been involved in several charity projects at Mulago hospital, has now extended her bigheartedness to Angel’s Center, a health facility that provides special services to children with Down syndrome and other mental challenges to help them realize their full potential and be fully integrated into society.

The singer Angella Katatumba will entertain guests at a dinner gala organised by Angel’s Center dubbed “Zimba Nafe” which is aimed at raising funds to expand their facilities to accommodate more children. The center currently accommodates only 30 kids and wants to expand to accommodate more children.

The singer has encouraged her fans to support this cause.The dinner gala will be held at Hotel Africana on Friday, June 30.

“Angel’s Centre takes care of kids with mental challenges to help them become self sufficient individuals in future. Right now, the center can only accommodate 30 kids and their goal is to accommodate 300. I’m inviting you to come build with them, to help achieve this dream,” she said.
