Singer Nadia Mukami and her fiance Arrow Boy have announced that they’ll be taking a break from music for a few days as Kenyans focus on voting for a new president.
The couple, who were blessed with their first baby just a few months ago, said that releasing projects during this election period is a bad idea, and artists should follow suit and take a rest.

“Right now if you release a song it does not do well because of politics. Let it first pass,” said Nadia while responding to a fan on her Instagram page.
The General Elections will be held on Tuesday, August 9. Kenyans are expected to take a few days off to vote and wait for the results.
Many entertainment joints are expected to close during this period.
