Blaqbonez To Release New Album On Friday

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has announced the release of his new album.

Known for his fun, bubbly personality, social media presence and great sound, Blaqbonez’ success is one that he has nurtured.

Growing from an underground artist to a mainstream one all by himself, Blaqbonez was a regular at rap battle shows across Nigeria.

Blaqbonez also participated in Hennessy’s VS Class and the Hennessy Cyphers, alongside some of the best rappers in the country.

Blaqbonez’ Big Break

Blaqbonez’ big break came in 2017 after he made a reply to MI Abaga’sYou Rapper Should Fix Up Your Life.” Since then, he has gotten industry recognition, with Nigeria paying attention to him.

Blaqbonez was signed by the A-Q, where he worked on the “Bad Boy Blaq” project alongside artiste features like Oxlade and Ycee.

His claim to be the Best Rapper in Africa also brought him to public attention, and his name trended after he released his rap single “BRIA.”

He followed this up with the Martell Cypher alongside A-Q, MI Abaga and Loose Kayon.

Switch Up to Afrobeats

In 2020, Blaqbonez switched up his sound with his mainstream single “Haba”, which fast became popular. Haba was a lot more different than other Blaqbonez sounds.

Blaqbonez personally took over his single promotion with funny PR stunts on social media, replying and commenting “stream Haba” under different posts.

He followed Haba up with another hit single, “BBC,” which featured Tiwa Savage on the remix.
