It’s official. Mariah Carey is coming to “Empire.”
Ahead of her E! docu-series “Mariah’s World,” the pop diva will guest star and perform on the third season of Fox’s hit show, it was announced Monday at the Television Critics Association press tour.
She won’t exactly be playing herself, though there are some similarities between Carey and her character, Kitty, a “mega-superstar” who will collaborate with Jussie Smollett’s Jamal Lyon.
