iPhone 7 is Water-Resistant, no Headphone Jack and New Camera Systems

Here’s what the iPhone is about.

Being marketed as the best, most advanced iPhone ever (like always), the iPhone 7 includes immersive stereo speakers, wide color system from camera to display, two new finishes, enhanced battery life, and water and dust-resistant construction.

First off, the 12-megapixel camera includes optical image stabilization on both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and a larger ƒ/1.8 aperture and six-element lens enable brighter, more detailed photos and videos, and a wide color capture allowing for more vibrant colors with more detail. The 7 Plus then welcomes the same 12-megapixel wide angle camera as the iPhone 7 and adds a 12-megapixel telephoto camera that together offer optical zoom at two times and up to 10 times digital zoom for photos. The camera system also boasts new 7-megapixel FaceTime HD camera with wide color capture, advanced pixel technology and auto image stabilization for even better selfies.

As speculated, the iPhone 7 will not have a headphone jack. Instead, the new phone comes with with EarPods and a Lightning connector to deliver incredible sound, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter that allows you to use old headphones and accessories.

In addition, Apple introduces their new AirPods, wireless headphones that that feature an Apple W1 chip. AirPods embody efficient wireless communication for a better connection, improved sound and industry-leading battery life, all while being able to harness the power of Siri.

Now on to what you’re really concerned about, battery life. Firstly, the iPhone 7 features Apple’s new custom-designed Apple A10 Fusion chip, complete with a new architecture that powers a myriad of innovations, making it the most powerful chip ever in a smartphone, while also getting more time between charges with the longest battery life ever in an iPhone. Ultimately, the iPhone 7 battery will last up to two hours longer than the iPhone 6.

Featuring iOS 10, the iPhone 7 is scheduled to release on September 16.
