Does Virgil van Dijk deserve the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year win?

Virgil van Dijk – Liverpool defender beat Cristiano Ronaldo and Leonel Messi and has been named UEFA Men’s Player of the Year for 2018/19.

The ceremony took place in Monaco yesterday – Thursday, 29th and other winners include the best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward, UEFA selected the best Men’s and Women’s Players of the Year and handed the President’s award to Manchester United legend Eric Cantona.
