Burna Boy’s latest single, “Kilometre”, has ranked No. 1 on the Turntable Top 50 music for the second week.

The Top 50 chart is an all-genres freemium streaming chart that includes the Top Airplay Chart and TV Top Songs Chart in Nigeria.

His first single since he won the 2021 Grammy for the Global Music Award, Burna Boy released “Kilometre” under Atlantic Records/Spaceship. Since it’s released in April, “Kilometre” has rallied 51.5million in radio with a reach of 16.3, debuting No. 1 on the radio chart. It also recorded 10.4 million in TV reach (up 61.9%), moving 14-4 on the TV chart and posted 943,000 equivalent streams (down 44.9%), sliding 1-3 on the streaming chart.

“Essence” by Wizkid featuring Tems moves to second place on the top 50, recording 36.5 million in radio airplay audience impression, 13.2 million in TV reach and 407,000 equivalent streams.

At No. 3, Blaqbonez’s “Bling” featuring Amaarae and Buju ranks as the first top 3 entry for the artistes on the track. The increasing radio and TV airplay of “Bling” tallys 39.3 million in radio reach (up 29.7%) and 8.83 million in TV reach (up 39.3%). The streaming activity of the song also increased within the week.

Cheque & Fireboy DML’s “History” comes in at No. 4 for the third time in 3 weeks. Forever Remix by Gyakie falls from second to fifth place after spending four weeks at No. 1.

Ladipoe’s “Feeling” featuring Buju comes in at No. 6, the biggest debut of the week, recording 35.01 million in radio impressions and 770,000 equivalent streams. Feeling’s debut on the chart makes Mavin Records the third label to have three different artistes on the top ten of the Chat. Mavin Records comes in after Marlin Music and DMW. Sony Music Entertainment has also had three artistes at No. 1 on the chart but under different divisions of the label: Wizkid (RCA), Davido (RCA) and Gyakie (Sony Music West Africa).
