While Mr Eazi’s chorus is definitely what makes “All Night” shine – he more or less steals the whole show with his croaky voice – he isn’t left doing all the heavy lifting. Yungen (“Bestie”) continues to show he is a talent to watch, delivering breezy verses and unshowy punchlines.
Speaking with Clash Music about the collaboration, he said:
“I’ve been a fan of Eazi for a while now. His song ‘Skin Tight’ was one of my favourite songs and I reached out to work with him when he was in London. He’s here a lot, so we made it happen.”
The stunning music video is directed by none other than Meji Alabi (the man behind most of Maleek Berry’s killer visuals) and it shows. While most of it is set in a typical club, the entire video is soaked in dreamy pink, blue and green lights, giving it that unmistakable Meji touch.
