Mariah Carey Sued For Sexual Harassment By Her Former Manager
Stella Bulochnikov, who was once Mariah Carey’s closest friends has notified the singer’s lawyers that they plan to file a lawsuit against Mariah for sexual harassment and breach of contract, Stella had a three-year contract that was terminated.
Mariah hired Stella in 2013 as part of a huge team shake-up. They were considered “inseparable” for around four years, but Mariah and Stella parted ways around a year ago.
Stella is also accusing Mariah of a violation of the US Civil Rights Act, a Violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act.
In the impending lawsuit TMZ reports that Stella claims Mariah was “constantly naked in front of her”, and the star’s alleged nudity is termed “sexual harassment”.
“Mariah owes Stella tens of millions in commission,” a source in Stella’s camp told DailyMail.com.
According to Forbes, Mariah earned $27m in 2015, the year she signed with Stella.
“She made next to nothing the year before that,” the insider said, adding Mariah had earned around $100m in her three years with Stella.
Mariah’s camp strongly denies the claims made by Stella and says they are “baseless”.
A rep for Mariah said: “If this frivolous and baseless claim is filed, we will defend against it vigorously and successfully.”
