A woman, identified as Keiotia Watson, claimed in legal documents she had a sexual relationship with Dwayne Michael Carter Jr A.K.A Lil Wayne back in June 2001 and he got her pregnant. Watson named the boy Dwayne, after Wayne’s government name. She claimed that the boy was born in February of 2002, exactly nine months after her alleged hook up with the musician.
According to the TMZ report, Watson went to court two years ago to establish paternity and seek child support.
At the time, a Louisiana judge ruled in her favor and ordered Wayne to provide over $5,000 a month; but the 35-year-old rapper paid them nothing.
Sources close to Wayne told TMZ that he hasn’t paid the money because he was never served with legal papers or notified he’s legally the father of the child.
One source close to Wayne says the rapper plans to take a paternity test and if he’s the dad he’ll take full responsibility.
Lil Wayne already has four other children with four different women. He had his first child, daughter Reginae, when he was 16 with his high school sweetheart Antonia “Toya” Carter. They got married on Valentine’s Day 2004 and divorced in 2006. His second child, Dwayne III, was born on Oct. 22, 2008, to radio broadcaster Sarah Vivan. His third child, Cameron Carter, was born to actress Lauren London on Sept. 9, 2009. His fourth child, Neal, was born on Nov. 30, 2009, to singer Nivea.
